I have a super minimal install of Win7 32 that I might use (its fits on a single CD-R). The only reason why I wanted to be able to address 8 is because Arma 2 makes full use of all 4 cores plus all 8 GB of RAM. If I get a MacBook it would be my everyday machine. I would still maintain some sort of Windows partition for light gaming and a PC at home for heavier needs. I just don't get why windows apps still are so 32-bit reliant. So many processors are 64bit, and it seems kinda backwards to rely on old school tech.

Or you could just do what smart people do, reinstall XP 32-bit, and put your games on that

they'll run better on XP w/ 3.6 GB RAM than they would on 7 with 8 GB of ram, so who really cares what's happening on the back end.

I maintain two boot images.. a 7 install for work, and an absolute minimum XP boot for gaming..

with the exception of DX-10 games, then I reboot 7 with all the services disabled using msconfig

Mac's.,. Do they even make games for those? :)P
